Pier Ave.

I really don't have any info on this band other than that it featured some cool dudes and that it's really damn good. At many times it reminds me of Embrace.

Miyagi.

I don't have much to say about Miyagi besides that it featured future members of Dangers/The Miracle Mile (Al Brown), Where The Sidewalk Ends/Rampage (Tolga, Jeff, Amir). This is their EP/Demo "Framiliar Paths Traced In The Summer Skies" and their full length "Everyone Goes To College" as this was their last recordings (the titles says it all). The latter featured two songs which would eventually be re-recorded by the bands that came after this (Rampage doing "Enjoy The Fruits, and The Miracle Mile doing "Adios Amigos"), as it also features covers by Randy Newman, Blondie, and Minor Threat.

Tomahawk Jam

Tomahawk Jam were a five piece band from Manhattan Beach, CA that played straight forward hardcore without somewhat melodic parts in vein of bands like In My Eyes and Champion. Though they weren't together for very long, and didn't play as many show as most bands do in the time frame (with members off at college in Berkley, Boston, and Colorado and two still in High School), they made an impact on me as being one of the best bands to come out of our area. This is their 2005 Demo, and a full length they recorded at the end of '06/early '07 that never saw the light of day but was awesome (it is also un-mastered).

Demo 2005
1. No Heroes
2. Decliaring War On Peace and Happiness
3. Don't Be A Goofus
4. Fix Me! (Black Flag)
5. For What It's Worth

and their full length (which I don't have the track listing for.)

ShoreeeeeBREAK!

For my first post I will be posting a band VERY few people know about, and this is band is called Shorebreak. I first saw Shorebreak at the end of '03 at the Joslyn Center and they had smashed up surf boards, palm tree's, sharks, and a bunch of other "beach" stuff on the stage while they played and up fronting it all was none other than Tob Dunbabin. Oh the good old days. This is their 2003 Demo. They played youth crew hardcore but on the way aggressive side and flirted extreme localism.

1. Shore Break
2. Not Welcomed
3. The Worst Thing
4. Solo Session
5. G.W.S.A.
6. Pier Ave
DL

And secondly I will be posting Rampage (not Boston's Rampage). Rampage was a Straight Edge band made up by ex-Miyagi and pre-Where The Sidewalk Members Jeff, Amir, and Tolga and featured Jeff's younger brother Tim singing. Sweet demo with song's about sweet things.

1. Blah
2. Viva la PCH
3. Enjoy The Fruits
4. Soccer Mom Hardcore
5. xSFEx
6. Rampage
